Will Ambode run for office again? That is the question in the minds of many Nigerians as the former Lagos State Governor is being asked to run.
Akinwunmi Ambode, who governed Lagos State for four years and brought the dividends of democracy to the people through focussed leadership which transformed to huge projects and development, took time out to thank Nigerians for recognizing his contributions to the development of Lagos state and the overwhelming endorsement for him as a candidate in the next election.
The 58-year-old Lagos politician, took his social media forum to urge Nigerian Youths to get their Permanent Voters Card (PVC) in readiness for the 2023 elections.
Ambode stated on his Twitter page on Tuesday:
“After all we have been through, God has been faithful. Thank you for the overwhelming endorsement of our modest contributions to the growth of Lagos. It can only get better for Lagos, and indeed Nigeria,” Ambode wrote.
“The youths are coming. The power is in their hands. Go and get your Permanent Voters Card (PVC) ready. Your future is NOW!”
